cp_freight final released
Recently cp_freight_b3 was released and it was received well by the competitive community.
Now the final version of cp_freight has been released. The gameplay will be almost the same, but there are some significant changes.
This is what the middle point looked like in beta3:
In the final version the sloped roofs are removed.
Instead a little “balcony” has been added where soldiers, demomen and scouts can go to.
In beta 3 the second point looked like this:
Now they have removed the medium medpack and ammo (1).
And they have upgraded the small packs to medium packs (2).
This is the old second point from another angle:
They added a railing (1).
They have also made it easier to jump to the top as scout (2).
When you spawn if you follow the right bridge you come to this area:
Now the medpack has been moved and instead a large ammopack is placed on the original position.
The door has also been moved.
This is what the first point looked like in beta 3:
Now a shelter has been added (1).
The small ammo pack has been upgraded to a medium ammo pack (2).
One of the windows has been shut (3).
Besides these changes there has been some minor ammo pack changes.
When you spawn and go through the left door there now is a small ammo pack to the left.
An ammo pack between point 1 and 2 has been downgraded to small.
The ammo pack at the stairs to the right of the middle point has been upgraded.
Go ahead and download cp_freight (15 MB) now. (7-Zip (free) or WinRAR (not free) required to extract the map.)

good changes
is this map now going to be played on etf2l?
maybe they will play the season with the old version, quite big changes, so…
etf2l uses cp_freight_b3… if they decide to change it to cp_freight they will announce that.

will have to try it out before i can form a definite opinion but at first look the big changes seem unneccessary & gay & not nice, changing the mid point roof, why?!
Looking good, but I kinda liked the roof at the middle. I wanna playtest it before I can say this is better or not, but at this point it seems as an allright change with some pro’s and some con’s.
Midpoint was destroyed ;/
