Do you think there’s anything the community can do to try and get a big PCGS-esque LAN off the ground?
Moose: Someone just needs to organize it. It’s as simple as that. You would of course need to have some contacts so that you’d be able to find sponsors for the event but there’s plenty of LAN centres around. Multiplay and such have shown no interest towards TF2 so my opinion is that we would need to organize something like that ourselves.
It seems like there’s 5 division one teams, 6 to 8 division two teams and 20 or 30 division 3 teams. What do you think the community could do to help produce more top-end teams?
Byte: Well the community have no patience, as the personality is being shown a lot of people are either elitist or just don’t have the patience/tolerance to teach and sit down with a lower skilled player/clan and help out. When people merc, they merc for themselves not so they help. For example when I’ve been asked to merc for a div 3/4 clan I take the opportunity to tell them what to do, where they went wrong and not sigh and expect them to think like a Prem player.
What are your opinions on the QuadV / Gamefire casting?
Agron: I like them a lot. I know some people say that the quality of the streams are often bad and sometimes the casters don’t know what they are talking about, but things like that don’t bother me. What matters is that Leogeo/A_Spec etc. spewing out words with enthusiasm make a match just look and sound cool to the people outside the tf2 clan community and make Joe Publics think “I want to be a part of that.”
